Taking the Dive...

At the end of every semester, all across the country, law students remove themselves from the world. For me, that time starts today. I am about to attend my last law school class for the semester. That means it is officially finals time. Normally this type of behavior would have started earlier in April; however, I was lucky enough to have a week off before my brutal week of finals. Although Meredith will also be busy with school, I encourage all of you to occupy some of her time so that she won't feel my absence too keenly.

Before I go underground, I will provide a short update. Meredith and I have decided (almost certainly) to remain at BYU for my third and final year. There was some talk about being a visiting student at KU; however, the balance shifted and it is now more advantageous to remain. As for summer plans, Meredith earned a full-tuition scholarship for the spring/summer terms and will take classes full time. This means that SHE WILL BE GRADUATING IN AUGUST (an interesting little tidbit for our stalkers)!!!!! As for me, I have an offer in Kansas City and am waiting for word on several more across the nation. As a result, I will probably not be in Utah for a portion of the summer. I will try to remember to post my final decision on jobs when it happens.

There is a first time for everything

So today, while sitting in my LDS Perspectives in Psychology class, I thought to myself "I wonder when the midterm is going to be for this class." So I checked my syllabus and realized that I have already missed the first exam and the second one opens tomorrow in the testing center! I wanted to die. I can't believe i missed/forgot about a test. I guess this was bound to happen some time in my college profession. So now, not only do I have to take the second exam but I have two others, a 7 page paper and a 3 page paper and tons of homework all within a weeks time. To make things a little more complicated, Dustin goes out of town next week and so I want to spend as much time with him as possible before he leave. This means that I will have little motivation to do all that I need to. I guess the break I am looking forward to is Valentine's Day this Saturday with my honey. Lets just hope I stay sane and have all my hair when Dustin returns back home.

I'm Healed

So I woke up this morning and realized that I have been healed. For the past 10 days I have been fighting something that combined flu-like symptoms with a sinus infection. I just thought you (stalkers) would all like to know that know that I am healed I get to catch up on the past week of law school work. This means I need to read about 700 pages before tomorrow at 10am. Wish me luck!
